The 2021 OBIE Awards jury selected Broadbeam’s creative and strategic work on PeaTos, as a finalist for “Out of Home Excellence”. We will find out if we receive a Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum OBIE recipient at the awards ceremony in May. As background, PeaTos is an early stage healthy snack brand start-up with limited funds. Our challenge was precise – boost their Costco sales in trial markets Seattle and Portland so they would get a national Costco contract. Broadbeam was tasked with the strategy, planning, creative strategy & production. After presenting dozens of concepts along with our Brooklyn-based freelance team, the client approved our digital OOH and geo-targeted digital media campaign, which takes on Frito Lay’s Cheetos and that smug little Chester Cheetah. And it worked … sales continue to be strong, and Costco is rolling it out nationally!
